Ayahuasca Vine (Banisteriopsis caapi)

Banisteriopsis caapi, (Ayahuasca Vine) is the most common base ingredient for most Ayahuasca brews.

Banisteriopsis Caapi contains beta-carbolines that exhibit monoamine oxidase inhibiting, and sometimes entheogenic activity.

Often the Ayahuasca Vine would be mixed with a plant like Chacruna to produce a Ayahuasca brew.

This mixture is said to give a combination of both Power and Light (Banisteriopsis Caapi Vine being the Power, and Chacruna being the Light)

We feel it would be disrispectful to call Ayahuasca a 'legal high' as it is a hugely spiritual plant, that is considered by many to be both a teacher and a healer.
