Psychotria viridis is a shrub from the coffee family, Rubiaceae.
It contains the hallucinogenic—or entheogenic—indole alkaloid DMT (Dimethyltryptamine).
It is known primarily as a principle admixture to the ayahuasca brew used in South and Central America.
Chacruna is sometimes smoked on its own for Psychedelic effects.
We have added Psychotria viridis to our catalogue here so people have the opportunity to try chacruna on its own, but we will soon have a very good quality ayahuasca product in stock.
It has many local names, including Chacruna and Chacrona
